Oh my god. This scraper must have come from a Fisher Price children's tool kit. Ages 6 and up only. In other words, the pen couldn't stand anything other than scratching the paintwork. I actually removed the 2" x 2" window bar, which should be a no-brainer. After fifteen minutes of use, the handle crept up and the tool was 2 inches shorter in length. The handle split and was never properly attached to the metal part itself. get a scrap
