Easy installation works great. On my first ride in a new boat, I found that there was water in the fuel tank. My outboard runs much better now as water collects at the bottom of the filter. I can see the water and just drain it by turning the drain valve on the transparent bottom of the filter. This filter setting helped me diagnose a problem with an underperforming outboard and allowed me to easily drain the water that was causing my outboard to underperform. This is one of the best additions I've made to an 18ft smoker and I would recommend anyone with a fixed fuel tank to install one. Next I need to remove and clean my aluminum fuel tank. This filter kit can connect filtered fuel lines to 2 engines, so if your kicker has the same fuel ratio it will support both engines. You will need mounting hardware, but it comes with nozzles and fuel line clamps.
