Worked great until I had to open the drain. Couldn't get close. Constant loss of fuel. I had to install a hose and connector with a clamp to solve the problem.

If you have the space to fit this is a great filter system. I had to and have had to use a non-drain filter. It's my fault for not knowing where I was going to install it before I bought it. A good product.

First I cleaned the threads and then used rectorseal 5 (instead of the "aviation" sealant WM sold me which doesn't seal and stays tacky). No hassles from installation to travel times - and I no longer pay designer prices.

Supplied with two push fittings and two nipple fittings. When I install my kicker, I need to buy another barbed connector (available at auto parts stores). The engine wash can also supply it with gas through this filter. Everything was easy to install but you will need bolts or screws to attach the base. It also comes with two hose clamps. Easy installation works great. On my first ride in a new boat, I found that there was water in the fuel tank. My outboard runs much better now as water collects at the bottom of the filter. I can see the water and just drain it by turning the drain valve on the transparent bottom of the filter. This filter setting helped me diagnose a problem with an underperforming outboard and allowed me to easily drain the water that was causing my outboard to underperform. Fine filter. Easy installation. If you have an outboard you may need a second fill light. This is a large filter and difficult to push or suck through a single pot. This is possible, but works best with a light bulb at the front and rear. Also, ignore any spikes and hardware that Revain tells you to purchase. I have a small bass boat, a 2012 Pro 165 Tracker. cause or aggravate unnecessary wear and tear, especially when not in use.
