I hate writing negative reviews. I'm doing it this time because the issue is so important. I bought these because I could get fast shipping and save a few bucks over genuine Trex or Timber Tech clamps, which cost over a dollar each. mugging. They are used to start laying corrugated sheets inside. The outer boards of the picture frame are solid (no grooves) for a better look. I screwed them all, everything worked. Then I discovered the first problem. Bare stainless steel clamps. Very shiny. You could see them glowing brightly between the gray floorboards. I asked my wife if that was acceptable and she said no. So I bought a semi-branded starter clip from Mantis. Twice the price, half the price of Timber Tech. The screws for this were smaller than the holes, so I reused the screws from that set. And I messed up with clip placement. I placed them next to the outer board so there is no gap in the fluted board. Guilty. I went back to remove all the clips and reinstall them 3/16" apart. That's when I discovered the problem with the screws in this set. Only three screws came out of 12 joists. Broke in the head. These Screws were screwed in and out of PT softwood twice. And they broke. I don't think it's stainless steel. I don't even think it's real steel. Thank god the color wasn't right and I didn't have it easy and thank goodness I misplaced the brackets and had to remove the screws, otherwise my soundboard installation would have failed in a spot where removing and reinstalling would have sucked.
