Recently installed Trex decking and used it as the first hidden fastener on steps and boards with irregular edges. Much better than what you can buy in the store and a much stronger screw. It appears to be a much more weather resistant material. Easy recommendation.

I wanted to save some money for deck work. I won't make that mistake again. The screws in this package are not of the best quality. I wore some stripes. I had to remove one of them due to misplacement (my mistake) and the head broke off. The gap on the actual clip was too short for the boards I had. Instead of saving money, I had to spend more to run to the store and get something that worked so I could get the job done. Well you live and learn!

These were of poor quality. The hole the plank is supposed to fit in was too wide for my AZEK plank (apparently the groove is wider than many other brands). I figured I could close that hole up a bit and just use them, but they are very solidly built and I couldn't bend them easily. I ended up sending them back for this reason, but would happily use them if needed. I hate writing negative reviews. I'm doing it this time because the issue is so important. I bought these because I could get fast shipping and save a few bucks over genuine Trex or Timber Tech clamps, which cost over a dollar each. mugging.
