I'm a veteran and have been drinking a gallon of water for over 9 years. Personally, I'm tired of wasting so many plastic liters of water over the years, plus the expense. about $380 per year. I bought a straw water filter to purify tap water and remove the carcinogenic PTFA levels, and I just fill my pitcher every morning and keep time stamps to keep track of my drinking throughout the day. A very durable water bottle, a very nice large spout for "quick sips at the gym" and a large cap/lid for easy cleaning. The grip attachment is good, although I prefer to just use a plastic grip. High quality no regrets! and the gallon practically tells me to drink it all instead of losing track of how many cups of water I'm drinking with smaller refillable options.
