I use this brush set to paint my house outside. The unit price was about $1.50 per brush, and the home store charges about $4 or more per unit for brushes of questionable quality. I was VERY pleased with the durability of these brushes! I've only used wider brushes before, but the construction and quality of materials are the same throughout the package. I've never painted a house [or anything other than some paint by number kits haha] but the experience has been enjoyable. I assume they would be good for coloring too, but I have no experience in that area. The only thing that bothers me is that the end of the pens is pointed and sometimes snags on my nitrile glove when I flip the brush, but that's a very minor point that I tend to overlook when thinking about how I do it saved me probably 20-30 dollars compared to the box. to keep. I would highly recommend this set if you are trying to cut down on painting or staining costs.
