I drove my 2004 Silverado with no problems. I did it myself in the garage in a few hours. One small thing I would recommend is to get some extra brake lube to lubricate all the parts. Two small bags like "ketchup" weren't enough in my opinion. If you're also a DIYer, buy a brake cleaner to clean the rotors before installation, a TORX T55 socket head (Chevy Silverado pins), and a heavy-duty OTC 6980 brake drum and rotor puller if needed (saved a day for me).
