I have 6 packs of 32oz. Plastic shaker bottles to store my cleaning powders because I can't *tolerate* the lined cardboard cans they come in. No matter how carefully I store them, they eventually absorb enough moisture to stick together, and you can't break up any clumps by shaking these canisters without releasing a toxic cloud of bleach or oxalic acid powder. Now I can keep them within reach of the sink or shower while polishing my kitchen utensils or bathroom, and the amount of particles in the air is greatly reduced. They still seem to be doing a good job of keeping moisture out. So a few annoying problems are solved! A small note though: I noticed that the photos of the caps in this listing are slightly different from what I received. I was expecting 3 large diameter holes on the shaker side of the lid, but I have 7 small holes on the shaker side. This wasn't a problem with my scouring powders, but I can see that they can be a problem if you want to shake out something other than the fine-grained salt or something larger like flaked parsley. Just something to note. But for my purposes they are perfect.
