These stair tread covers are very nice. The grey and white pattern add an interesting counterpoint to the dark staircases. Although the carpeting is very low, I found it to be comfortable. Since I have knee issues, going up and down the stairs can be quite painful. I also love the fact these are machine washable. It was nice to smell my laundry softener instead of an industrial processing smell.I used gorilla tape at the front facing of the cover. Works great with my pets and kids running up and down the stairs all the time.
