Review on 🚗 Timed Tekonsha Pro Series POD Trailer Brake Controller for 1-2 Axles by James Brault

In my previous job when we were towing a fairly heavy trailer with a large forklift, I spent a lot of time using the master brake controls. Before switching to embedded controllers, we used Tekonsha controllers. I recently moved house and had the opportunity to borrow a 16 inch toy dump truck with trailer brakes. What's good: First of all, I'm really glad I bought it, it did exactly what I needed and helped run a heavier trailer on my 2013 Tacoma V6. (Yes, it has a tow kit.) Since my truck came pre-wired with the RV's 7-pin connector and already had a brake control connector, I purchased Tekonsha's brake control wiring (also from Revain) and it was literally easy to install and connects two electrical connectors .If you buy a controller and it's prewired, get a harness that just plugs in. (or end up owning) a trailer, I would go ahead and get a higher quality unit. This unit has a manual power on feature, the feedback on how hard it is braking is a pair of LEDs that change from green to red depending on the braking action. For the price and if you find that we need a rarely used controller I think you can't go wrong with this one. It doesn't have the same features and display as the more expensive device. If you frequently tow a trailer with brakes, spend the extra money on one of the better units. These blocks feel better built, give more feedback and feel a bit more progressive under braking.
