So I had them kept at my workshop since they were cheap and wired (yeah, not everything has to be Bluetooth, folks). They are connected to a computer that controls my X-Carve CNC router. I use it either for thinking when I'm working in a shop or for watching tutorial videos on YouTube. They won't replace high quality studio monitors or home theater speakers, but seriously, these are good value Blinky speakers! The lighting was a good safety feature for me as there is less chance of hitting them with a tool as they are lit all the time. In the studio the lighting is not distracting (I don't know if you've tried it in the home office how it would work). They sound pretty cheap and easily fill the store with music. I have a USB cable to a USB hub (with power connectors) as it uses USB for power (not audio) and the audio goes through the 1/8" TRS jack to the micro's USB-C audio adapter -PCs works. it does not have a TRS connector. Works flawlessly. I'm a big guy with big hands, so I appreciate a reasonably sized volume knob that I can grip with my thumbs. They have reasonable bass for small speakers and don't hum (which is good). They have withstood the constant CNC dust (mostly sawdust - despite dust collection) and work great. Would I buy them again? In any case. Would I use them for mixing? high quality recording? Not at all. They are ideal for everyday speakers. The bass is just right for my needs. I highly recommend them for everyday use. mount so you can screw them into something (like a 1/4-20 threaded mounting point) at the store.
