I read customer reviews that encouraged me to order a size 30, I normally wear a size 31 to 32. Unfortunately it seems I should have gone even smaller and ordered a size 28 . Even with an elastic band, the pants are too big. The belt is huge too. I checked the tag on the pants and they are a size 30 so they didn't accidentally send me the wrong size. I'm just sharing this so others know to order a lot less than they usually carry. Otherwise the trousers appear to be of excellent quality and if they fitted would be a very good deal.
