Review on Prothane 8 907 Front Lower Bushing by Jacob Diego

Revainrating 5 out of 5

The answer is: Working without a workshop press.

I needed this product when a simple hammer blow resulted in a broken pin and a factory reamed bushing in a car over 20 years old. I couldn't remove the control lever for fear of breaking more screws in places my drill couldn't reach. I was able to squeeze this socket into my arm with a C clamp and the installation was very easy. Next time I need a bushing I'll look through the Prothane catalogue. Can't comment on durability as this is a production car, I've only driven it a few hundred miles since it was fitted. So far, no creaking or abnormal behavior of the suspension has been observed.
