Review on GAS DRYER REPAIR KIT - COMPLETE WITH 279311 IGNITOR, 279834 GAS COILS, AND 338906 FLAME SENSOR by Emanuel Guffey

I installed all of these three parts in a gas dryer because it's 10 years old and if you're already in one that old you should do as many maintenance upgrades as the Area you work in as much as possible to protect yourself from future problems I think. It turned out that it really only needed (2) two gas coils, but the gas glow starter is very fragile and was damaged during disassembly, so it was replaced as well. Now the dryer works like new. TIP: When I take apart large equipment for a repair like this, I use a black pencil to write the part numbers, date of installation, and place of purchase on the inside wall of one of the sheet metal walls for future repair records. I have found these records to be very helpful in previous repairs.
