Dear Fellow Foot-Problem People, Others have mentioned that these things should be longer. Some say they don't fix the claw-like problem of hammer toes. True, they should come in extra-long. Meanwhile, I have very long hammer toes, and discovered a hack: I can fit two on the one super-long second toe (they overlap some on the bottom side), thus lifting the end, as intended, so the end of the toe does not rub on the shoe - tra-la - AND the hammer IS somewhat corrected, because the lift on the end forces that middle joint to flatten a bit. More comfortable for me than the one-or two-toe PediFix splints, which pull the joint down but add extra material to the shoe. My toenail has been so damaged by pressure on it, and I've gotten so many blisters on my toe end, I'm relieved to finally relieve that pressue. (Never thought I'd publish a photo of my not-pretty feet, but there you go! )
