I've been using them for almost a year now and I LOVE these containers. They are the perfect size for food prep/packaging. There is no separator, but so far there have been no problems with it. I simply use a separate container or silicone cupcake liners to separate or pop out small items before microwave the entire container. It can be washed in the dishwasher, but I still hand wash all lids. I've had Pyrex lids that slowly degraded in the dishwasher, so I'm not taking any chances with them. On the plus side, even when using it with liquids, I still haven't had anything wrong with the rubber seal around the rim of the lid. It's a nice hollow rubber ring that the rim of the jar rests against and snaps firmly into place so it seals really effectively. No leaks yet! But the gasket is still easy to remove and clean underneath. They're a little pricey up front, but they're definitely worth the investment. Perhaps my only complaint is that this size is too narrow to fit a whole sandwich, but I just halved it.
