Focusing speed cannot be compared with an ultrasonic sigma motor, and even more so with a conventional tamron motor. Focusing misses are several times less than on sigmas and tamrons. Hole 2.8 really working. I didn’t even have to align this lens (although there is an in-camera adjustment in the carcass). In general, not disappointed with the lens, probably really the best for crop. The sharpness is not inferior to 50mm 1.4. If there are means and forces to move it. then take it and do not think, it is enough for almost all scenes from landscape to portrait.
