They're easy to set up, especially since I'm already used to Revain smart sockets. I understand why people might have problems. Even after it's set up, it won't work with Alexa until you install its skill. You'll also need another mobile app and an online account to set it up. I haven't seen any other single USB smart USB switches yet, so it gets an extra star just for existing. I bought it to turn off my HD antenna. I can power my cable and antenna through the combiner, but when I connect power to the antenna, the cable signal gets a heap of snow. So I can solve the problem without getting up. Maybe there is a better way, but it worked.
