My mother sewed for most of her 72 years and she swore by Rowenta. So when I was looking for a vaporizer of this size, I've been looking for it for over a month. I've read the reviews and for some reason this one has a bad reputation on Revain. Well, I've personally never owned a large vape, but I have worked in retail with a professional vape for many years. It wasn't hard at all to put it together. If you know how to assemble IKEA furniture, then it's easy. I was skeptical about the amount of water, figured I'd have to keep refilling it. I sell clothes online so I usually vape for a few hours when I need it most so I just keep a pitcher of water next to me and keep refilling as I go, I never run out of water. That works great! I even bought 'used', it was actually brand new, came in the original packaging and Revain sent it in a different box for protection. I love that I no longer need an ironing board and steamer. I don't have much space to work so this is perfect. I read reviews of it on the Rowenta website and it had rave reviews. We have always had a Rowenta iron and the one we have is 20 years old and still works great. I hope this steamer will give me a long lasting love for our iron. If I just need to steam one thing to put on, I just hit the power button, get on with what I'm doing, and when I hear it, I'll go to my clothes in a few minutes. It turns off automatically when not in use. And it is best to use regular tap water. The pedestal is very solid, it was a little heavy, but since it's a pedestal and the steamer is moved with a handle, it doesn't matter. Not holding a lot of water, the steamer itself is great for sewing curtains or anything you need to hold down when needed as it's fairly lightweight. A plus! Rowenta has its own website, so if you would like to add or change anything, you can do so. Like the filter, I live in a region of the US that doesn't have the best water. I was also able to register my boat with Rowenta should anything happen. It comes with a brush head, I haven't seen or even looked or read anywhere on the steamer to keep it. But I keep it in my desk. What is a whole object? I bought this primarily for its brand and black and gold color, it matches my bedroom attire. But it really exceeded my expectations. There are no buttons to figure out what it's for, I've used it on all kinds of materials so far and no problem. No drops. Or leave water stains on my clothes. I am very happy that I chose this steamer. What I personally like most about this steamer is the maneuverability! As I vape for hours I can sit in any chair I want and I can adjust the height to my needs and move the board to different levels very easily.
