Save space in circuit breakers, load centers and fuses
I had a 30A bipolar switch and needed to add an extra 50A circuit to my full accessory panel. This breaker did it. I had to bypass some switches to install this. These compact switches do not fit in every slot of the Siemens panel, but only in the specially designed part of the rail. You should check your panel to see where you're going and make sure you have enough cable on your existing switches if you need to move switches to do this.
