This is a straight junction box with pre-wired cables. I connected directly to the battery on my snow blower. It would be nice to have a master switch to shut off all power. I only used 4 chains. I can configure the "F" switch to act as a master to reduce power consumption from the red power LED on the left. If your computer is connected to the IGN line or you use your computer frequently, this is most likely not a problem. Depending on the snow conditions, I may not start my snow tractor for several weeks. Overall I really like it after a week of use. I run an LED front light bar, two LED taillights, a rotating beacon and a windshield wiper. Good visibility for other vehicles when snowing.
