I got these to start my first project of making fused bead designs. Place the beads on the board, cover the beads with parchment paper, set the iron on medium heat and just use the tip of the iron to make circles on the parchment paper/beads and I had no problems. Just let the beads slowly blend together and see if each area blends. When I saw that they were good I turned the pegboard over so the bead pattern came loose and the other side melted. I had no malformations or any problems. Just make sure you don't overheat the board for too long, as it doesn't take long for the pearls to fuse together. Circular movements also help. So if you are new to these projects I would highly recommend these boards.
