These beats are okay at best. And I'm pretty generous. Even when cutting clean pine (no knots) at very low feeds and speeds (0.005 inch depth per pass, feed rate 25 ipm, piercing speed 12.5 ipm) these bits keep breaking. I literally went through three beats on my first cut. I had to go all the way to a depth of .002" per pass to get through the cut. That's outrageously petty. That means it takes forever to reach the desired depth. At this rate it becomes very useless. I can chop down a pure jaw while panting 5 feet away. But somehow these pieces can't cut it as a baby. It's cheap knick-knacks and a definite poster for the "You get what you pay for!" crowd. Look elsewhere if you ask me.
