Review on 💨 SNS AR3000-N02 1/4 NPT Female Thread Air Pressure Regulator, Adjustable 0-150 PSI, with Bracket and Gauge by Leonard Henry

This is a good upgrade over most popular low cost regulators. I would buy it again if needed. Seems well made and easy to assemble. I haven't tested the thread but I suspect it meets the specs. The regulator is supplied without a pressure gauge installed. One port has a connector and the other has a connector. Half of the users were able to remove the cap and screw in the regulator. The other half will want to move the connector to allow the controller to be installed upside down, or set up the input on the right. A 5mm allen wrench is required to remove and replace the plug. Mounting the meter is unnecessarily complicated as there is not much space between the controller body and the back of the meter. A thin profile 1/2" open end wrench is required. Thin profile means less than 1/4" thick. I was hoping to find one in my set of ignition keys but they were only up to 3/8. My smallest adjustable wrench , less than 4" long, was still too big. I ended up doing it the hard way with some old needle nose pliers. After installation I changed my mind and wanted a different fitting on one side. .When stripping the thread turned out to be painted from the factory, I would have preferred bare aluminum, but maybe it's cast zinc or something that needs corrosion protection.
