💨 SNS AR3000-N02 1/4 NPT Female Thread Air Pressure Regulator, Adjustable 0-150 PSI, with Bracket and Gauge Review

I was really hoping this would be the last regulator I would have to buy for a while. Not as much. I installed it two days ago and used it twice and then the block under the adjustment knob started leaking across the top. Very disappointed in this product, just went and grabbed a unit off the shelf at the local hardware store. Don't waste your money on this device.

This used regulator replaced the regulator that came on a nail gun compressor. This regulator is higher quality than the original OEM and the gauge range is more appropriate (0 to 150psi vs 0 to 220psi). This may seem obvious, but just for clarity, the gauge shows the adjustable/hose side. this. Turn the knob to the right and the pressure gauge will show the pressure drop. Turn the knob to the left and the pressure gauge will show an increase in pressure.

The old pressure gauge does not match the new SNS. Is my gauge running low or can't this SNS reach 150psi? If you look at reviews just take this as a data point. My old gauge that came with this 30 (26?) gallon Craftsman compressor will not fit. His old regulator and meter failed so I replaced it with this SNS. I freaked it out and couldn't get 150psi, but like I said, I suspect it could be a low fuel gauge. Does anyone have this tank and seen this problem?

The regulator on my small portable compressor broke while working and stopped working. This one is actually better than the one I replaced. Typical Chinese component and it works perfectly. I had to fit some fittings to drain the tank when installing a larger unit. It would be 5 stars if there were more detailed instructions and a few photos clearly showing installation and operation.
