In general I am satisfied with the purchase. This frees up a lot of desktop surface. Much better than a giant monitor stand, or two smaller stands, or one stand and a stack of old books (which I had before I bought it). My thoughts on how this would work are not accurate. If this is your first desktop mount, this might come in handy. I figured I could keep the laptop tray pushed back when not in use, and then slide it forward and up when I needed the webcam for online meetings. In fact, the hands cannot be raised and lowered as needed. The only way to move the levers up and down is to loosen/tighten the clamps attached to the B-pillar. This means that there are some limits to the height of your different attachments in relation to each other. The armrests have an incredible range of side-to-side, fore and aft movement and can be reclined. Also note that you should look at the underside of the table before buying to make sure there is enough space for the clamp. Mine has a metal frame that fits almost too close to the edge of the countertop for the clip to work properly, which I didn't even care about when I bought it. I was able to attach it and it seems stable. The instructions were adequate but not the best I've seen. I still don't understand why I have three clamps designed to mount to the B-pillar when the instructions say to only use one of them. Everything seems stable with just one clip, but why are they in the box if I'm not supposed to use them?
