Easy, inexpensive fix.
This item comes with inserts that you put into the sofa and then screw the legs into them, it was easy to do the only tool you need is a hammer to drive them in, assuming your couch has the holes already there. If not it is not difficult to drill a hole and then put in the insert. See pics for details.
