We are a homeschooling family. Last year we bought our son a small microscope for $5 from Five Below. It came with several slides. It was enough to see if we could incorporate a microscope into our weekly science and exploration class. When the microscope became a hit, we ordered this set of slides. Slides fall into four categories and offer many options for beginner labs and small children. The slides are medium sized and fit most microscopes. Material and easy to use and clean. They do not come with chutes such as concave or similar chutes for liquids. Dye not included. Slides are ready to go out of the box. They can be stored in their original sliding boxes. You can also buy a glass slide box that will easily fit the slides. These slides can also be used with other microscopes such as the USB and smartphone options.
