These lights did exactly what I needed. Light up the inside of my 7x16 foot enclosed trailer. I connected the lights to one of the existing interior lights that were already in the trailer. The red wire from the light switch is positive and the black wire is ground. I grounded them directly to the roof rails with self-tapping screws, which also means I had to add eyelet connectors at the end of the wiring (no big deal). All in all these lights are pretty damn bright for the money and you can't go wrong. I will update in the future but I don't understand why they don't last long as they are not used daily. Probably once a month to haul a couple of ATVs to camp.
