Review on 🚰 33 inch Drop-In Stainless Steel Kitchen Sink - Bokaiya 33x22 Topmount Sink 16 Gauge Handmade Single Bowl with 10-inch Overmount by Chakravarthi Ladner

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Good quality but poor drainage and difficult to keep clean

The sink was relatively easy to install - we used our own method of attachment so I wasn't concerned with reviews mentioning brackets etc. Seems well made and I like the extra depth (10 inches versus most 9 inches). The outer edges are a bit sharp! The bottom is VERY flat - no water flows towards the hole at all. Perhaps this applies to all large single bowl sinks? Before that, we always had sinks with two bowls. I don't like having to "dump" all the water down the drain every time I use the sink. If you end up with food in your sink, you'll be chasing it for quite a while before it ends up in the sewers! We removed the screen after a few days because you just can't drain all the water or food debris with the screen in the way. The finish feels very solid, but it shows watermarks like crazy. I'm not in the habit of wiping the entire sink every time I use it (if I want it to look good). Maybe it's more noticeable because the sink is so huge (single versus double sinks). I wish I had investigated the slope and end of the sink more thoroughly. My husband would be upset if I told him to take him back - and I can't do that myself - so I guess I'll learn to live with that. :-)

Pros
  • Quiet kitchen sink. This countertop kitchen sink operates silently thanks to additional 3mm sound-absorbing pads covering the bottom of the sink and covering around the bottom of the sink to muffle noise from dishwashing and waste disposal. Paint finish prevents damage to kitchen cabinets from condensation
