Nice to have a spare
I learned the hard way with Pyrex lids. Hand wash them, not in the dishwasher, and they won't deteriorate over time. These are good replacement caps although not as flexible as the original caps. Plastic is harder and eventually becomes brittle rather than softer and more pliable. DO NOT wash them in the dishwasher or they won't last as long as the original Pyrex lids. Although it is a worthy replacement.
