I have just installed this light and am very happy with it. I changed the length of the shells to create a layered effect, with four shells in the center and two shells on the outer ring. I didn't mind putting a lot of parts together, but I do enjoy doing detailed hobbies. I waited for the jig to be installed and then attached the shell parts to it. It's a little tricky to align the template with the long support screws. So it is best to measure the distance between the opposite mounting holes (25cm) and tighten the screws in the correct position before attempting to align with the mounting plate. The lamp is the size of a large pizza. I wear gloves to put it on so it doesn't tarnish the chrome. Contrary to the experiences of the other reviewers, my flashlight had a ground wire. I have dimmable LED bulbs and they are very bright when fully on. I definitely recommend this light for a classic beach look! I'll try to figure out how to post a picture.
