The firmness is perfect, but you can only sleep on one side of this pillow. On the other side is a very large, thick, heavily embroidered "ghost pillow" that you will definitely feel if you lie down on that side. I like half of these pillows. If I could give 2.5 stars I would. Another issue is that the embroidered logo shows through the pillowcases a bit. Please do not make the mistake of assuming the product photo on Revain shows a removable logo. My bed is now a Ghost Pillow ad when the pillows are open.
