Review on Sceptre E325B-QPN168 2560X1440 DisplayPort Monitor with Built-In Speakers, Blue Light Filter, Flicker-Free, Frameless Design - IPS Technology by Timothy Pammit

I would like to recommend it, but.

1st monitor arrived quickly in good condition but after powering up the monitor had 1 hanging off-white pixel and the other was a dead black pixel. Most wouldn't even notice, but I did because I use it for both work and play, and I'm constantly staring at every inch of the screen. This is only noticeable when viewing still images. The replacement came quickly, but there were also screen defects. The second monitor from the bottom had black horizontal stripes that distorted the image on the screen. Another thing to note is that these monitors emit a slight hum, similar to what I would describe as industrial lighting in an empty warehouse. This is a slight electrical current noise which I found to be normal due to the type of battery/power supply the monitor uses. Whether you're using headphones, listening to music, or hearing external noise, it drowns out the buzz. I really wanted to like this monitor and I think it's a good budget monitor if you can get hold of it without problems. Unfortunately I'm 0-2 with this monitor.

Pros
  • IPS panel. The IPS (In-Plane Switching) panel is second to none when it comes to consistently delivering maximum color reproduction and clear visibility from multiple viewing angles.
Cons
  • I will write later
