I thought everything was fine until I checked again with a heat gun. Temperatures were somewhere between 114° and 93°, and it wasn't even like the center was hot, but the sides/corners were cooler, one corner was under 90 and the other corner was over 110. The gauge says so warms up to 107.6, and not 114 and more. I don't trust this to keep my gecko alive and healthy. Also, when I tested the heating pad directly with my heat gun, I noticed that one corner was already peeling off. Their claim that "it can stick for a long time because it's extremely difficult to remove" is wrong. We even gave the tank a proper rub with rubbing alcohol, let it dry and heated up a little with a heating pad to aid in the smooth adhesion offered with other seals. The last thing you should know is that the description says "If you decide to place it on the bottom of the tank, make sure you lift the tank slightly with the 'wrong feet'." At least not in my order. Very disappointed, returning as defective.
