This stool is fantastic. It's easy enough for my 3 year old to maneuver and adjust to. It's the perfect height to reach the top shelf (I'm 5ft 4in) and thin enough to fit behind a small gap behind our fridge. It doesn't have big handles, so it's very easy to remove. Closing is a little tricky but if you do it a few times it will be very easy. To close, simply press the red tab (light pressure) and grab the stool's black handle. You release the red tab and It's closed! To open, simply lay it down and press the bottom of the stool. It's really very light and I love that it's so small to pack. We mostly use it in the kitchen but my husband has also used it as a touch up when redoing the ceiling, it soaked it through completely too and it hasn't rusted so a bonus!
