I bought this unit to replace a FloJet water pump in a 2015 Keystone. This pump has retractable ports sealed with O-rings. An o-ring was leaking and I "upgraded" to this pump as the inlet and outlet are threaded and have no leaking o-rings. The pump is easy to install (almost like any other). It comes with an isolating mount. I'd say it's *significantly* quieter than the Surlo pump it replaced, so that's a big plus. Two downsides to this pump: 1) The +12V side has simple connectors that have been wire crimped. I'm not a fan. I had no problems with this, but would have preferred the wires to be uncrimped and soldered. 2) The 1/2 inlet/outlet (plastic) was very difficult to fit onto the flex hoses in my Keystone. I probably cut them about 3-4 times, had to go back and use a die to rethread the threads and then very carefully install the tubing. If the in/outlets were steel or brass this thing would get 5 stars. This probably isn't a problem for most people using PEX fittings or fittings without rubber grommets in the hose.
