Pump does not switch off after pressurization - tighten ALL cylinder screws!

After much research I chose this pump for my full van makeover project. I was very disappointed after installing and carefully inspecting the entire PEX piping system and making sure all connections and connections were tight, my brand new pump would not turn off. I did NOT expect the new pump to be bad and took apart some sections (expensive PEXs) to find leaks. But they weren't. Then I read the 1 star reviews of this unit here on Revain and saw a review that said someone had the same problem…

Replaces F65 with E65

My 4 year old Shurflo pump, originally installed by Winnebago, had a defective check valve and would kick in briefly about every 15 minutes to repressurize the lines. It also allowed the city's water supply to supply water to my onboard fresh water tank, which eventually resulted in an overflow and a wet camp. I ordered an E65 thinking I misread the model number on the pump as it wasn't easy to identify and it was only after removing the old pump that I realized I had ordered the wrong pump…

Good pump, quiet, 1/2 thread (obviously) plastic and easy to cross.

I bought this unit to replace a FloJet water pump in a 2015 Keystone. This pump has retractable ports sealed with O-rings. An o-ring was leaking and I "upgraded" to this pump as the inlet and outlet are threaded and have no leaking o-rings. The pump is easy to install (almost like any other). It comes with an isolating mount. I'd say it's *significantly* quieter than the Surlo pump it replaced, so that's a big plus. Two downsides to this pump: 1) The +12V side has simple connectors that have…

Easy replacement for Power Water Pumps

I'm a regular nerd who "gets nimble" on the weekends. It was a very easy job replacing my old cheap Shurflo that was vibrating out of my cheap RV tubes. The equipment was the same as my old model (details below). I also used the filter from the old model and got a chance to clean the plastic splinters (from the factory fresh water tank installation?). The only "weird" thing I had to do was relocate the rubber feet because the screws wouldn't get stuck or fall out. So, you know, if that was the…

Completely disassembled, all 8 screws broken!

Bought 3 years ago, hardly used until we've been in the van all day for the last 6 months, it got noisy while my wife was having a shower. There are 8 screws holding the two sides together and they all come off, funny! The whole thing fell apart. I removed 2 washers from each bolt to get some extra grip to hold them together until I get back to civilization and buy a new one. And we're about to leave for Baja. This unit was only marginally quieter than my original Shurflo, but still quite…

Love this pump in Water Pumps Parts & Accessories

My 30 year old Sureflo water pump has finally breathed its last (motor liner worn, fittings damaged) as I floated down the river. . Cal. desert. A nearby local hardware store (only one within 40 miles) had another brand of pump for about twice the price they were selling here on Revain and the nearest supplier with this Sureflo was 80 miles away. Luckily there was a Revain locker about 60 miles away in the area we were going to for other reasons, so I was able to pick it up there a few days…
