Review on 🚰 SHURFLO 4008-101-E65 3.0 Water Pump: Revolutionizing Performance for Improved Searchability. by Shah Jones

Bought 3 years ago, hardly used until we've been in the van all day for the last 6 months, it got noisy while my wife was having a shower. There are 8 screws holding the two sides together and they all come off, funny! The whole thing fell apart. I removed 2 washers from each bolt to get some extra grip to hold them together until I get back to civilization and buy a new one. And we're about to leave for Baja. This unit was only marginally quieter than my original Shurflo, but still quite noisy. Best results have been achieved by moving the pump to a safe location, using flexible hoses on both ends and securing them with zip ties, and the hoses are not in contact with surfaces that increase the noise. I may try adding a storage tank when I get a new pump. Update - I put a new pump in and took a closer look at the broken one, although there are 8 bolts, only 4 of them connect the 2 parts together, the other 4 don't engage the motor side at all, they don't make any sense? So only 4 screws are broken off, the remaining 4 are apparently just decoration!
