These are some good 5 inch interface pieces. Definitely NOT for compounding and polishing! My pads flew around the room like bullets and one hit me in the neck! The heat from the DA or rotor melted those things and ended up with a huge 5 inch bead of glue on my new paint. Luckily it came off and removed some of the mucus. Only one remained intact, attached to my 5 inch grinder which is holding up well. They tend to bruise and remain easily crushed and no longer retain their original shape. For the price they are good and you can't expect too much compared to a quality pad that costs $25. Your value for money is excellent. Adhesion can definitely be improved. At around 3500rpm they will start to melt and fall apart and at higher rpm be very careful as they will fall apart in no time! I'll try to fix them separately with high temp glue and hopefully they hold up.
