Review on MICHELIN Pilot Sport 4 245/45 R18 100Y summer by Micha Bialik (Eagle) ᠌

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Good product for me, I was satisfied with the price.

235/45/17 (I will compare with michelin primacy 3 as I skated 2 sets) Changed only yesterday to Sport 4, but fresh impressions are the most revealing. The rubber is a little heavier, softer, the tread is higher, hence more comfort is expected, it is quiet and smooths out small bumps in the road well. I expected more controllability from rubber, the tread has more inseparable blocks and a directional pattern, probably from here there is an effect that the car goes straight on rails as if clearly straight "when the steering wheel is released", notices less seclusion, and from here I notice an interesting nuance, the steering wheel at zero has become heavier, the car seems to be trying to maintain a direct trajectory of movement, which is why when cornering and rebuilding, there seems to be a slight delay in the reaction of the steering wheel. (steering wheel with hydraulic booster, the information on it is more honest than on the electric one) If figuratively, then the primacy 3 held like it was glued (obediently follow the wheel) The Sport 4 rides like it's on rails and resists the steering a bit. This is by no means a problem, it is just a subjective feeling of control. I do not rule out that the case may be in a downed collapse, after diagnosing and diagnosing the suspension, I will check the collapse.

Pros
  • Definitely comfortable tires, quiet and soft. Well dampens small bumps in the road,
Cons
  • It feels like the steering wheel has become heavier at zero (I’ll explain below)
