I have been using this product since the late 1970's. It is a consistently reliable pipe additive for high pressure black natural gas pipe fittings. More recently I've found it to be equally effective on the brass fittings on my shallow well water pump. Since the sealant is packaged as a stick within the pouch, your hands stay clean during application. To apply, simply "rake" the paste evenly over the fibers of the pipe thread. The price is good too. I recommend this seal to everyone else.
