Chose as a printer for the home. The parameters when choosing are simple: a laser printer, no bells and whistles. I wanted "just a printer". In principle, I did not want to take complex MFPs, etc., since earlier there was an unpleasant experience of the obsolescence of such a printer-scanner. After several years of use, it becomes impossible to find up-to-date drivers, and a physically serviceable device turns into a pumpkin. I expect that this will not happen with this printer, since it is just a printer. Moreover, HP has a history of very long, very good driver support for its LaserJet family of printers. The "bells and whistles" in the form of network printing in this model are just a nice cherry on the cake. I'm ready for the fact that after some time it will stop working for some software reasons (HP will stop supporting their application, for example). But at the same time, the rest of the functionality, I hope, will work. So far I'm 100% satisfied: - prints fast. - on standard paper qualitatively. - very easy to connect. About printing via wifi. I thought only my wife would use it, but it turned out to be super convenient! At first, I could not connect directly to the router, since the wps button does not work on mine. But then I downloaded HP software on a poppy and everything flew. Incredibly convenient to print from phones and tablets (electronic covid passes, for example ^_^). Just open the mail on your phone and print the sent document! About printing on thick paper. I tried to print on thick paper, got some stripes (as if the paint remained on the rollers and stained the sheet). This is not the case on standard paper. I understand that the printer was created for plain paper, but still.
