Almost died. This charger held up!

Damn. This gadget right here is awesome. I take my Makita drill press, an extra battery and four-wheel drive, hop into 85 acres of pasture and fix the gate near the old pumping station. Trying to avoid the field creature, I lose control and tip over the SUV, breaking both my legs. I was able to reach my phone and it was dead. However, I had this charger and drill battery and was able to plug the phone in and turn it on to call my wife or call 911. As soon as I tried to dial the number, I passed out from severe pain. The last thing I did was call my wife, hoping she would know something was wrong, and send one of the guys in an old Dodge to clean me up and take me to Dr. Hinckley near the county line. When I woke up in the hospital they said it was a neighbor. A damn good Samaritan in another pasture saw me hurt and drove over to help me right after I passed out and dialed my wife's number. I still believe that man was an angel (as in Roma Downey and Della Reese's Touched by an Angel series). Unfortunately, my wife never got a call because there is no cell service on the other side of the property. Ever since the railroad put up a new high-voltage pylon on the other side of McIntosh's alpaca farm. Thank goodness this stranger could call 911 with a satellite phone. When the ambulance arrived (20 minutes) they had unplugged my phone and put it in my pocket for me to have at the hospital when I woke up. They told me my phone had 50% charge when they found me. Not bad for a 20 minute charge on a completely dead battery. I don't think the charger really helped save my life. That couldn't be. Still no reception. But I was still glad to have a cell phone with a normal charge when I woke up in the hospital. I was able to ignore some of my pain and the disorienting effects of the powerful painkillers they injected me because I could listen to my favorite Merle Haggard MP3 album on my phone. I finally figured out that if I could just listen to that damn Merle album I would cancel the record and survive the crash. This song where he sings that "the best thing about dying is living really well" was just what I needed in that moment. It helped me make life choices. I don't even know if it's true, but I believe it and it's my truth. Great little charger. would recommend.

Pros
  • Absolutely amazing!
Cons
  • Not bad, but...
