Seemingly simple design. The device is made of plastic, so be careful. but once installed it shouldn't be a problem. I haven't gotten much feedback on Unis so they seem to work as advertised. No steam humidifier. It looks like an old swamp cooler. It pumps water through a grid mat installed in the device, along which air flows. The water is routed to the sewer in the existing water supply network of the house. Does not recycle water.
