These straps went up with no problem. can be pulled out of the straps with a wrench. Tighten the straps as tight as possible so that the type in bold is in its loosest position. The first time I did it I ran out of thread and had to do it again. The belts are sharp so the mechanic's gloves will help. The metal is strong. After installing the chimney mount, I installed a 5m antenna with ground radials at the end of a 3m mast. I felt this effect from the long arm of my antenna in my hands, but it slid firmly into the mount. It feels solid - not too much play. Can't tell if any parts will rust in the elements but it's looking really good for now.
