Review on Wsky LED Camping Lanterns: Bright, Portable, Waterproof And Battery-Powered by Ben Rodriguez

Handy lantern, very bright. one puzzling thing

I call this a handy lantern because it is able to serve as a lantern, a flashlight with a directional beam (coming out the top of the lantern), and an emergency beacon with red light. The lantern has 3 buttons to manage 3 functional capabilities. one for lantern (main illumination. white/yellow/both white & yellow light), one for emergency beacon (red LEDs on top of lantern), and one for direction beam from top (like a flashlight). Each button controls the on/off modes of each functionality. This buttons are very intuitive and easy to use. An interesting note, is I can use all three functionalities at the same time by hitting the corresponding button. For the main lighting mode, the super bright on this lantern is very bright, to the point it hurts my eyes when stared at. Then there is a yellow, and a white and yellow. Each mode can be dimmed by pressing and holding the button for the main light. The puzzling thing for me is that if I dim any of the modes. When I hit the main light button it turns off. When I hit the light button again it turns on and remembers the dimmed setting. However. if I power off after that, the memory is gone and the setting goes bout to 100%. I'm puzzled as to whether there is a step I'm missing.Recharging: One slightly irritating point when recharging. The lantern uses a USB C port which is great. The cable included is USB-A (older, larger end) to USB C. If I try to use a USB C to USB C cable to a charging hub I have, it does not work at all.The lantern also serves as a power bank for things like phones.Overall, a very handy/useful lantern.
