Don't be put off by the lack of warranty
, I recently switched to a Sony mirrorless camera for professional work and it was the only lens I invested in from the start. Yes, it's an international version, but I've been using international copies of lenses with my Nikon setup for years without a problem, so I decided to play with it the same way and so far I haven't been disappointed. I'd love to see this thing shrink to 20mm or 24mm, but the 28mm focal length gives you a pretty wide field of view. And with a 70mm aperture, it's a great lens for portraits. Really nice bokeh and overall very sharp image quality.
