Review on 🚚 ZEROXCLUB HD Wired Backup Camera System Kit: Waterproof Rear View Camera + 7’’ LCD Reversing Monitor for Trucks, Trailers, Box Trucks, and RVs by Gregory Castellanos

I ordered this camera to monitor my horse(s) while riding in the trailer. The picture quality is excellent and I installed a second camera on the back of the trailer for reversing. The monitor has two mounting options and is relatively easy to install. In my setup (2016 Silverado cab) I already had a backup camera system on the truck and I will only use this system for the trailer. I used a windshield mount with a small mount on top of the head. The kit includes adhesive foam suitable for dashboard mounting but not for windshield mounting. I purchased 3M VHB tape (very high adhesion) to attach the mount to the windshield with excellent results. I also bought some extra 10m cables and rubber dust caps to protect the ends of the cables when the horsebox isn't pulling. I ran two wires to the back of the truck and two wires to the horse trailer (one inside to watch the horse and one in the back for the backup camera). The hardest part of the job was pulling the cables through the rubber grommet in the bulkhead next to the steering knuckle. I also bought a roll of 1/2" split conduit to protect the cables and secured it with zip ties along the inside of the spar at the back of the truck. Similarly, I zip-tied the video cables to the trailer power cord and then am followed the wire routing in the trailer to each of the cameras.The kit also includes a short set of wires connecting power and ground for the monitor.This was easy to install in my Chevrolet when I hooked up a hot 1/4" spade connector in the fuse box the driver's side found. A wired system like this is much more reliable than a wireless one and it only takes a minute to connect. The monitor has 2 video channels and a small remote control to switch between cameras, or you can use the physical buttons on the monitor.
